To be admitted onto the Degree Course, a secondary school diploma or other equivalent qualification obtained abroad are required, which must be deemed valid by current legislation.

 

 

For pre-enrolment an online questionnaire must be completed. It is non-selective and self-assessing, aimed at verifying the student’s educational level. A further test will evaluate the preparation of prospective students in the following areas:

 

  • an advanced competence in the Italian language, both written and oral;
  • historical periodization;
  • definition of geographical areas;
  • a basic competence in Latin and Greek (only for the Western curricula)

 

The test which consists of 30 multiple choice in the following thematic areas. It will take place on the 4th of November 2019 and on the 13th January 2010 at 10.30 in one of the venues of the University. Details about the venue will be communicated on the Coordinators Noticeboard together with other relevant information.

Prospective students who possess a B1 certification will be exempted from an interview with a Committee appointed by the Department. If the interview is not successful, they will have to attend language classes at the University Language Centre (CLAOR) at the end of which they will take a test, or they will have to produce a certification by the end of the first semester.
